A LIFE ROOTED IN THE STREETS OF LA
Born and raised in LA, ImaGhostXO identifies DTLA as the heartbeat of his universe. Having slept in her streets as a young man, worked in them as a professional in the music industry, and lived in the middle of the city for 8 years, his perspective is deeply shaped by the landscape of the city and its people.
"I shoot with a 23mm lens. I have to get close to my subjects and I push my camera.
If I can't immerse myself in the environment, I don't deserve the image... you can feel that in a shot."
